Consider a gift to Grand Valley Audubon Society’s Endowment Fund now or from your estate.

Grand Valley Audubon Society (GVAS) benefits from an endowment held by the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF).  The endowment, first established by GVAS in 2005, generates over $2,000 annually for GVAS.  The endowment is designed to grow over time with a percentage of the interest being reinvested.  GVAS has the option to reinvest all or a portion of the annual payout to help the principle grow more rapidly.

Western Colorado Community Foundation has a new initiative focused on Conservation, Outdoor Recreation and the Environment (CORE) and, as part of that initiative, we want to work with GVAS to grow its endowment.  We welcome the opportunity to talk with you about gift planning to benefit GVAS and its mission to foster an appreciation for birds and other wildlife, preserve a diversity of habitats, and provide a sustainable healthy environment through education, research, and individual action.

In recognition of the chapter’s upcoming 50th anniversary, we have set a goal of increasing the endowment by at least $50,000.  Please help the chapter achieve this goal and help insure it is financially healthy for the next 50 years, by planning your gift today!
