GVAS mission statement: The Grand Valley Audubon Society strives to foster an appreciation for birds and other wildlife, preserve a diversity of habitats, and provide a sustainable healthy environment through education, research and individual action.

The Grand Valley Audubon Society offers two grant opportunities to the community.

The Rich Levad Research Grant will support research and conservation projects up to $1250.

The Education Grant will support the attendance of one youth (12-17 year olds) to the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies Summer Camp for up to $750.

Education Grant Guidelines
Complete a one-page cover letter with your name, age, why you would like to attend the RMBO Summer Camp, what skills you might obtain during the camp, and how that will impact your future interests. The deadline for cover letters is April 1st and decisions will be announced prior to the May monthly meeting. Cover letters should be addressed to Cary Atwood, President of GVAS, at gvas.executivecoordinator@gmail.com. Please indicate that it is an Education Grant application in the subject line of the email.
